The granite of the Homomonument has been anchored in the streetscape of our Capital since 1987. The Homomonument Foundation symbolizes the long road of gay emancipation in the Netherlands and far beyond. The foundation's identity, just like gay liberation, is alive and well and still evolving. Last year we worked on translating this identity into a new website. We want to see the value of the foundation reflected visibly and tangibly in the design, colors and texts on our website. That means: 

A homepage, the place where the reception takes place, where every gender identity is welcomed; 

There is a protest page where you can post a personal protest cry, and on this page you will also find how you can participate in the communal protest. 

On the memorial page, visitors can mention the name of their deceased loved one. 

The realization of this new website was funded from the Homomonument Foundation's own resources and we are very happy with that!
